Display and Camera solutions consultant at Volvo GTT (Global Trucks Technology)

Continued to work for the Silicon valley-based company where I was given the technical responsibility to manage the replacement of one component which became unavailable during the "chip-crisis" in three running projects at two different suppliers. The focus was on securing the integration of the new component in SW and on design and verification of a new production test- and calibration method suited for the new component.

On-site consulting for a major tech company in Silicon Valley where I participated to the R&D activities in very much the same way as I did while working for SonyEricsson. The focus again was on cameras, displays and other optoelectronic components.

Working with design and integration of optoelectronic components in various different projects, pre-studies and sales activities within consumer electronics, surveillance/security, automotive, and life science. The projects ranged from large inhouse projects which we ran as a separate development unit for external customers via consulting tasks where we contributed with our expert knowledge and skills for specific customer needs to long term assignments on site with the customer for long term assignments.

Responsible for the performance and integration of cameras, displays, touch panels and other optoelectronic components in mobile phone projects. The responsibility included all parts from requirement setting, design review, performance verification to tuning production test limits and conducting failure analysis. To support the performance verification and failure analysis I co-developed tools in matlab to evaluate images captured in standard camera test methods. We also developed a tool using an industrial robot and logging SW to test the performance of touch panels with respect to accuracy, precision and latency. A significant portion of the task was to coordinate the work performed by suppliers and various inhouse stakeholders, mainly software, mechanics and electronics, but also radio, testing and customer services. I also cooperate closely with the sourcing team to secure quality and delivery according to plan.

Participating in a team performing regression test of the network communication SW in the Ericsson mobile phone platform.The work included preparing HW (mainly flashing SW and connecting it to test rigs), overseeing that the test cases were run as expected and a first analysis of logs from failed tests.
