Competence within the fields of coastal management, sustainable development, fisheries livelihood, safety at sea, environmental management, marine pollution, and environmental impact assessment. Extensive experience from working as project manager, project coordinator, and organiser of several international training programmes, workshops and seminars. Experience from working as global coordinator and manager for a safety at sea project at FAO, with activities in West Africa and South Asia. Experienced from working with governments and regional bodies, and inter-governmental organisations, UN organisations as well as in the private sector. Well experienced from fieldwork, knowledge transfer, and staff training. Ability to work well in multi-disciplinary teams.
