Initially educated within the container shipping industry and later working as shipping manager for an international food trading company, has brought me great and valuable experience within all the aspects of transportation globally, that being ocean transportation, freight forwarding, export, import and a specialized knowledge within temperature controlled cargo.I am a strong professional and have a broad knowledge within international transportation, procurement, negotiation and with a demonstrated history of handling of transport claims legally.My network within the transportation industry is wide, both national and international and I have many good and valuable contacts throughout the transportation sector – including a very respectable name in the business.I am very good at establishing and maintaining work related connections. I have always found it easy to work cross-functionally in the companies where I have been employed and for many years I have taken the position as manager, mentor and sounding board.My life experience has been backed up by a 2-year stationing in Brazil, where I worked and lived together with my wife and daughter.
