Since 1991, I have been working as a project manager within product development, customer installation, service development, industrialization, and field trial/validation. As of 2003, I am a certified Project Manager Professional. Depending on the character of the assignment the following tasks have been included: Capturing, setting priority and get buy-in of requirements and expectations - often in work shop-format, make risk analysis/FMEA on product and project. Define project scope, create a good working environment and motivate project members, generate base for decisions, evaluate technical solutions, suppliers and quotations, identify and quantify necessary activities, request suitable resources and economical means, schedule activities, develop and negotiate project budget, manage deviations and changes in requirements, report actual turn-out in regards to budget, monitor progress and deviations, head activities according to company project model, standards and CE-directives, set routines for document handling and storage, head information meetings, change management meetings and reviews, lead design work, testing and verification, see to that the project deliverable is shipped in good order to the prepared and trained line organization. Continuously request and manage feedback from project members, escalate problems not solvable within the project, represent the project towards all stakeholders, conclude project deliveries, use of resources and with the help of the project members, in work shop-format, analyze what was done well and what can be done better, present the final report to management, project manager peers and, of course, to the project membersI am curious about people in general and enjoy learning about new technical solutions, work flow processes, project methods and organizations. Well organized, outgoing, autonomous with a strong sense of liability are other words describing me as a person.
