At 60 kV Construction we are 47 experienced project managers, specialists and technicians building 60 kV construction projects from business case approval to final handover to operation.Our projects come in all sizes from a simple breaker replacement to building new 60 kV stations, 60 kV cable systems etc.The department also assists Operation with root cause analysis, when the distribution network experiences faults.60 kV Construction is divided into 3 departments:60 kV projects:Lead project managers and engineering project managers specialized within high voltage stations, HV/MV cables and HV overhead lines.60 kV technicians:High voltage technicians specialized in HV/MV-components, automation, HV/MV cables and joints.Automation:Automation engineers and technicians working with the disciplines from design of SCADA and protection, protections calculations, to final test and commissioning in our SCADA-system.

This includes updating the system with new equipment, maintaining the data and optimization of how our internal customers can navigate around in our system, search for specific element and also find other specific data for our network components.Grid Models and Data- Ensuring that our software model represents both the actual and the planned Danish transmission network for load flow and short circuit calculations.- Development and verification of models- Data quality control- Ensuring convergence and that our network design requirements are met for all network configurations and power balances.Transient and harmonic studies- Insulation coordination studies for all new transmission grid projects.- Harmonic studies- Induced voltage calculations on gas pipes and other conducting construction due to Energinet.dk’s HV/EHV lines- Ad hoc grid studies- Power Quality studies
