I got the opportunity to start a new entity within the Drillcon group in Ireland, a brand new market for us and a very exiting challange!Starting from scratch, all alone, the company grew fast after a successful roadshow winning several contracts within the irish mining sector for exploration and raiseboring. Investing in new equipment, hiring local staff, dealing with local authorities. All this leading to having 5-6 different rigs in operation and totaling about 15 people employed.Since the temporary closure of Tara mines, the company is now put on hold until further notice.

Leading the production in Scandinavia during a time of fast expension. Increasing the number of employees with more than 100%. The number of drilled meters, revenue and profit reaching all time high. Reaching out to new markets such as Germany, Austria and also some new customers in sweden. Diversifying the product portfolio from containing mostly coredrilling for exploration to also include raiseboring and other applications of coredrilling (piling, blast holes etc.)All this creating new challanges in terms of resources such as staffing, machines and materials. In november 2016 we started the first course in coredrilling we've ever had in sweden called "Drillcon traineeprogram" recruiting only via facebook/linkedin and by that lowering our average age on our employees. The program has been a great success and been held 10 times since then, educating more than 60 drillers. During 2017 we started implementing reporting production figures in the cloud. The customer can then keep track of the progress, live. We also implemented the same thing for internal orders from the projects to the purchase departement. Trying to get easier reporting for the operators we configured an exsisting online time tracking and project management system to our needs. This gave us better control of the activities and less administration.Other than the buissness development above, key work tasks in this position are:-making sure we comply with laws and regulations -keeping close contact with our (at the moment 8) customers, usually via montly meetings.-Managing and planning our projects (currently 25 projects running 24/7)- Resposible for our staff, currently 110 drillers and 6 supervisors, and the allocation personell/project.

A couple of different branch organisations svemin, geotech, fab etc. working together to create a common education platform for drillers. The extention of this will evetually lead to a certification of drillers in the areas of SHE, coredrilling etc.

Working with all of scandinavia as my platform, working with most of the drilling contractors on the market. Planning, consulting, correcting, surveying, analysing and supervising drilling programmes.This position was all about solving problems and beeing able to educate both the mining and drillingcompanies in the vast opportunities of directional coredrilling. As a field engineer I needed to go anywhere at anytime and as an alone representant for the company meet with new clients.

Planning, coordinating and reporting for up to 7 drillrigs running 24h/day 7 days a week. Making sure the drillers get the right precontditions to do the best possible job.Keeping close contact with clients such as Lundin mining (zinkgruvan) and Boliden mineral (garpenberg).

Deep holes, Directional coredrilling, Standard exploration drilling, High precision drilling etc.Drilled with lots of diffferent dimensions and drilling systems such as longyear Q-system and Sandvik WL-system.Surveying with Reflex maxibor & gyro among other survey tools.
