I have done the journey from software developer in an agile environment, where I learned how to build robust and stable software, via Technical Project Management where I was responsible for the whole technical solution for our customer, and finally ending up in different leadership positions.Taking the step from being and engineer to a become a leader working with people changed my life. I strive to create clarity and a long-term strategy for my teams. Having a direction and a common understanding of why we are doing what we are doing can make wonders for individuals, teams, and organizations.Coaching is part of my life and I have had a personal coach since I started my leadership journey back in 2016. By experiencing coaching myself I know what it can do in terms of motivation and self-development. Therefor I have been actively coaching employees over the years.In my leadership roles I have learned that the key to motivate people is to listen. By listening and understanding each individual needs and motivational factors I use coaching, mentoring, support, and training to adapt my leadership style to each team member to make them grow and be an active part of the company culture.In my spear time I love to read books, listening to music and spend time on outdoor activities such as running, mountainbiking, hiking and skiing. I also practice yoga on a regular basis which clears my mind and at the same time strengthening my body.
