As Senior Lead Consultant Per is leading a team of data professionals at Crowd Collective Sverige as well as assisting clients on assignments within BI and data analysis. On his current assignment he is acting as BI Solution Manager and Full-stack BI Developer at EKN, The Swedish Export Credit Agency.Previous roles:- Fullstack BI Developer at Swedish Match - Technical Project Manager at Nepa responsible for delivering solutions in Power BI.

Per is currently acting as the System solution manager for the BI platform at EKN (Swedish Export Credit Agency).

Solving problems with data by day. Awarded pencil artist by night. Next to my day job I have worked as a professional portrait artist for over 20 years. I started my company Svanström Art in 2017 for the commercial side, selling prints and other things. Creating art brings me peace and I love combining my passion for arts with my passion for data and visualizations, either if I am experimenting with pencils on paper, in a BI dashboard or ina SQL script.

As a fullstack BI Developer Per was responsible for delivering end-to-end BI solutions inMicroSoft Azure and Power BI. Per worked closely with stakeholders in variousbusiness areas including Finance, Sales, Customer Relations, Manufacturing, R&D andmore. In addition to his role as BI Developer, Per also performed Power BI trainingsessions with the business and acted as stand-in service manager, facilitated stand-upsand release meetings.

As an expert in data analysis and data visualization Per is responsible for delivering high priority cases at ICA. Main projects and solutions delivered: - Self service analytics solutions in Tableau for business users and analysts. - ICA Executive Dashboard: As part of making ICA datadriven Per has built a solution in Tableau which is consumed by all ICA executives.

As head of data analyst Per managed the team of 12 data analysts supporting the business with high priority data analysis and data visualization related queries. Per was the Risk Analytics lead of EY Nordics responsible for the team delivering all data analytics solutions in Risk including risk transformation, internal audit, internal controls, cyber and compliance.Main highlights:• Per lead the Nordic Analytics team providing services embedded within the Internal Audit function for five multinational companies based in the Nordics, supporting over 40 internal audits / investigations annually. Support covers the end-to-end IA analytics process life cycle, from jointly defining the key risk areas and controls, producing the required analytics to consuming the insights guided by the data analysts.• Managed the development of a customized Internal Control solution in Tableau for a global manufacturing company, analyzing end-to-end the processes Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, Inventory and Record to Report . Per was responsible for design, build, test and support of the tool.• Led the team in the development of a customized analytics solution in Tableau for analyzing Vendor Master Data for a global industrial company. Coming back from UK, Per focused fully on sharing his knowledge gathered from working in the London team. As a Senior Consultant Per led the Risk Analytics team of Deloitte Sweden managing all bespoke Analytics projects.

Per worked as a Senior consultant in the Risk Analytics Financial Services team in London. Main highlights:• For 11 months Per acted as a Trade Data SME in a global commercial bank transformation programme, managing all Trade Data related activities on the programme including ETL/ELT in Oracle SQL and BI development in Tableau consumed by programme management and business executives.• As a Trade Data SME Per managed and developed a solution in Tableau for Trade migration. This had a significant impact on the programme, providing the team with the information required to plan the migration approach.• Managed the development of a customised Regulatory Risk solution in QlikView for a global commercial bank. Responsible for design, build, test and support of the tool.

As a Consultant at Deloitte AB, Per was co-responsible for the Risk Analytics team in Sweden and worked in a broad range of client sectors and domains including financial services, customer services, manufacturing and telecommunications. Main highlights:• Led the Analytics team on multiple Internal and External Audit projects. Responsible for development and reporting of IT control testing.• Managed and delivered multiple QlikView and ACL solutions within External Audit. Directly responsible for design, build, test and reporting.• Managed the development of a solution in QlikView for analysing a bank’s risk valuation model. The engagement was highly successful enabling the client to improve their processes and have strengthened the demand of Deloitte’s services.• Co-led a project with the Legal team and managed the Analytics team who effectively identified data quality and data management issues in a payroll system.

Next to his studies Per worked part-time as a tester of encrypted communication systems, such as mobile phones, used by military, government and police. His work mainly involved writing test cases and searching for defects in a product’s software. This job also included working in projects; attending at meetings within the projects to report the test team’s daily results.

Management consulting

As inspector on his shift Per was in charge of inspecting, maintaining and repairing defects on truck engines and machines used in production. His job also included time reporting and ordering of supplies. As an inspector, his work acquired leadership and quick decision making.

Per’s main job was to make inspections of truck engines before they left the assembling line. He was also the team leader of his team of 12 people responsible for training and daily planning.
