Being stationed as a Machinery Supervisor at various shipyards, primarily in Asia, for the last 10 years has given me ample experience working in multicultural environments where dedicated teamwork has been essential for the success.I have been involved in projects from the plan approval stage where I have been giving inputs to the choice of Makers and system design. This includes balancing the requirements from the Owner while ensuring that the requirements from the Classification societies and other authorities are complied with.I have always been seeking to ensure a sound design of systems/equipment that will be easy and safe to both maintain and operate.
