Swim Pacer is a watch app for Garmin watches that I have developed (concept, code and product). It is a tool to help swimmers with the correct pacing when swimming laps in a pool. It works on all Garmin watches that have support for apps and is very easy to use.

Rayvr aimed to enrich everyday lives by democratizing real life experiences in Virtual Reality. Our ambition was to create enhanced experiences that educate, enlighten or entertain… or hopefully does all of these things. We served as a concept and tech developer, creating VR experiences and VR training within transportation, travel and educational industries.Acquired by Vobling 2018.

In 2014 I started up the department for Innovation at TV4. Our mission was to focus on the future and the next steps beyond linear and digital ondemand TV services. We defined our vision "to renew TV4 with the use of data, new technology opportunities and new ways of working". The department (started with me but most of the time between four and eight FTE:s) worked closely with other departments at TV4 as a resource and inspiration.Within data we made strategy and implementations within "big data" and spent a lot of time investigating the needs helping other departments make use of the data we collected. We learned a lot about our users, our content and the way our products were used.We worked close with other parts of the technical department to learn more about possibilities with new technology and tried many things from new platforms to 3D-printing in order to improve the service to TV4 users and the internal production. We also did some of the first productions within VR for a swedish media company, gaining a lot of attention for our work with 360 video in formats like Idol, Mästerkocken (Master chef), Så mycket bättre and news productions. For improving new ways of working we arranged hackathons (internal as well with external participants ranging from "vanlisar" ("common people"), partners, consultants and agencies), arranging workshops and sessions for collaboration between departments and learning new ways working with innovation processes within TV4.

Technical development of TV4:s digital products: web products as TV4.se, TV4Play.se, Fotbollskanalen and apps for iOS and Android for TV4 Play and Fotbollskanalen. Also many experiments with second screen products. We developed TV4 Play for Apple TV. By now almost everything was cloud based (except data storage for security and legal reasons) and had a modern architecture with API:s, micro services, open source languages and frameworks and so on.

Worked as technical manager for the team and the platforms for the online distribution of TV4. A small team (grew from four to ten) responsible for TV4.se, Fotbollskanalen.se, Recept.nu, Hockeykanalen.se and more. Worked in close collaboration with all the companies stakeholders. We introduced agile ways of working and got much better at optimizing throughput and using the resources efficiently.I took initiative to move into cloud services. It started small but we iterated fast and learned a lot. It created a lot of internal and external buzz and I talked on several conferences about our journey and what we learned. Our costs went down, our quality improved and our speed of development increased.

I enjoy eating bread and what started as an experiment with Google Maps turned after a few hours work into http://surdegskartan.se. I used Google Maps, Wordpress and some plugins to create an index over all sour dough bakerys in Sweden. By today there are more than 200. Every year I send stickers to the bakerys and you might have seen one while visiting. After my time limited position in the technology department of the new media department at SvD I moved into a new position. As a Project Manager and business developer I worked closely to the sales department and the management to develop new ways of monetizing our digital properties. For example we invented a new ad format for real estate agencies to market their properties in our digital channels (which at the time was a major business for the paper version of SvD).I also served as an advisor in some technical questions at Tasteline, then a SvD subsidiary.

Technology manager at Svenska Dagbladet where I was responsible for the implementation of a new CMS on SvD.se and E24.se. Two big sites, two different editorial departments, two different sales departments. Went from a home made CMS to Escenic. We had a small internal team of developers and a big team of consultants.

Participated in the making of Schibsteds (first) technology strategy. Commuted to Oslo and was responsible for the Swedish subsidiaries (Aftonbladet, Svenska Dagbladet, Blocket, Hitta and more). We created a five year strategy for technology within Schibsted which included platforms, products, services, vendors, governance, knowledge sharing (forums, internal sharing of code ie).

When Aftonbladet online (later Aftonbladet New Media) grew from 25 to 125 employees I was responsible for the technology. In the beginning a 20Mbit/s connection was enough throughput to power Aftonbladet.se but a few years later we needed >1 Gbit/s. A very high growth but already then Aftonbladet was Swedens largest news site (and one of the biggest sites in Sweden).The technology department grew from three to thirteen employees and we were responsible for Aftonbladet.se, the ”wap site”, mobile site, tele text and the projects we did with web radio and web tv (remember Real Player?). We developed our own CMS which provided multi channel publishing and removed the need for html savvy editors to publish.

Spent my first months after university at Aftonbladet as a software developer. Developed Aftonbladet.se and some of the multimedia services we had on the web site (sound, video).

Started a one-man-agency for web development while studying. Made some websites and helped companies with web work. Customers included Dinners restaurants and Aftonbladet (built their first intranet).
