Helping researchers use data in their research by building infrastructure, sharing my knowledge, and being a proponent for data that is As Open As Possible, As Closed as Necessary.No method is too advanced or too simple — it all depends on the data, the task, the researcher and their research question, competencies and end goal. I primarily work in R, Python, and the Wolfram Langauge, sometimes on a distributed Apache Hadoop and Apache Spark cluster og other HPC facilities, but always with a focus on the best tool for a given task.
