I have more than 20 years of experience working in banking & finance, M&A, Foreign Direct Investment and General Corporate matters. He has extensive experience in leading transactions, negotiations and closing cross-border transactions. In financing works, he has represented both creditor’s side and debtor’s side, as well as local and international financings. I have also been involved in both shares and assets acquisition of banks, telecommunication companies, technology companies, food & beverage companies, and mamy more. Mr. Saputro also advises on competition law, telecommunication, technology (e-commerce), data privacy, and corporate restructuring. I have become a speaker in numerous seminars and workshops held by various leading universities in Indonesia. I have also written legal articles, among others are "Seeking New Ways to Protect Indonesia' Cultural Heritage", the Jakarta Post (2007); "Article 27 of Competition Law and What Lies Beneath", (2011); "The Long and Winding Road... and Where it's led: Merger Control in Indonesia", Asia-Mena Counsel (2012). In 2012, I published my first book on the Indonesian merger control.I received my bachelor of law degree from the University of Indonesia in 2001 and was a 2010 graduate of the School of Law, the University of Glasgow, UK, where I received a LL.M degree in the field of International Competition Law and Policy.I am a member of PERADI (Indonesian Advocates Association) and Ikatan Advokat Indonesia (IKADIN).
