SubcontractorEnfo 2017 - PresentGothenburg, SwedenInvolved in a lot of different projects, some highlights include:DS Smith:Built a web app to be used when rolling out changes in an organization (e.g. Windows upgrades, two factor authentication) and collecting feedback on it. As the only developer on this project I was responsible for everything from start to finish. From choosing the initial tech stack, to planning Scrum sprints and finally deploying the completed app. I ended up choosing Angular (with a heavy focus on RxJS functionality) / Material Design for the frontend. For the backend I used Node and MongoDB. The app was deployed using Heroku, ClearDB and Mailgun.AcadeMedia:A tool used for signing contracts between students and companies. It was built using serverless technologies on AWS Lambda. I was mainly involved on the front-end side of this project working with Angular.Pernod Ricard:A tool used for signing order contracts. Built using Angular with Node / MongoDB on the backend.ESAB WeldCloud:This was a rather large project that involved taking welding data and presenting / acting on it in a meaningful way. I was mostly doing frontend tasks in AngularJS / Angular but also helped out on the backend at times (which involved working with MQTT, Node and MongoDB).IAAS:An internal marketing campaign where I got to integrate with HubSpot and use Vue.js for the frontend.Registercentrum:Centre of Registers (Registercentrum) is one of several centres of registers in Sweden that support the development of national quality registers. The registers are used to improve health care. I’m currently involved with everything from frontend to backend. Languages and frameworks used include React, Remix, Node, JavaScript / TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, Vue, C# / .NET and Entity Framework. -
SubcontractorThe Hungerford Family Foundation, Inc. 2015 - 2022Florida, UsaAs the developer of this website (thffi.org) I've taken a large GEDCOM file (Genealogical Data Communication) and converted it for use in SQL Server instead. The site has functionality such as membership registration, payment system, file upload & storage, search & browse etc. One interesting thing I got to work on here was Apache Solr integration.

SubcontractorFormula 3 Group, Llc 2015 - 2021California, UsaWorked as the primary developer on various e-commerce related apps, some highlights include:Merch Cloud:An inventory management system built using Node, Express and Ionic.In-Store Fulfillment Cloud:A shipping system that integrates with UPS, built using CFML / CFWheels.Clienteling Cloud:A feature rich CRM system. Built using CFML / CFWheels and integrated with SalesForce and Twilio among other things. -
Web DeveloperStyrsö Bk 1996 - 2021Gothenburg, SwedenWebsite (styrsobk.com) for my football club that I've rebuilt a number of times over the years. The latest iteration uses .NET Core to render pages on the server side and is deployed to Azure. The site's frontend was put together using a combination of a Bootstrap base from a few years back and my own custom CSS on top. Most of my effort was put into making it responsive / mobile friendly and fast (aiming for that hard to get 100 Lighthouse score...).

Lead DeveloperCfwheels 2006 - 2018ColdFusion on Wheels is a framework loosely modeled after Ruby on Rails. I took over the project in 2006 when it was in early beta and lead the development to a stable 1.0 release (and a few years later to 2.0 as well). The most interesting thing about this project for me was that it was open source and I got to experience that aspect of the programming community. I also got to take my understanding of unit testing (1,000+ tests!) and databases (built an ORM from scratch supporting Oracle, PostgreSQL, SQL Server and MySQL) to a whole new level. -
Vp EngineeringSingsnap 2006 - 2017Ottawa, CanadaI was part of a small team building a website (singsnap.com) where you could record yourself singing and listening to other members' recordings. It was an amazing experience seeing the site grow from just a few people recording on the first day to eventually attracting millions of members.Due to the popularity of the site I got valuable experience with techniques for dealing with vast amounts of data (indexing, sharding, replication etc) and heavy website traffic (load balancing, performance monitoring etc). The site was originally built with ColdFusion (using the CFWheels framework) and SQL Server. The last few years we started using more modern languages and frameworks such as TypeScript, Angular (both AngularJS and Angular 2+) and Ionic (for hybrid app development).Besides coding I was also involved on the business side of things, specifically with providing guidance on recurring revenue models and setting pricing. -
Web DeveloperSkinnycode Corp. 2005 - 2006Ottawa, CanadaWrote a business plan and developed a website for managing common webmaster related tasks such as checking server up time, responding to customer service requests, tracking user visits etc. I primarily used Ruby on Rails on this project which was the hot new thing at the time.

Web DeveloperEatsleepmusic Corp. 1999 - 2005Ottawa, CanadaDeveloper on a network of music related websites. I used ColdFusion with SQL Server for the most part at this job. Towards the end I got very interested in semantic HTML and separation of concerns related to CSS and JavaScript.
-
OwnerAudiodreams 1997 - 1999Gothenburg, SwedenStarted a MP3 website where unknown bands could upload their music for a wider audience to listen to. This is where I got to work a lot on HTML / CSS for the first time. I also did some web programming which in those days consisted of writing CGI / Perl scripts.
