About Katie Rhinesmith

It's a cliche but studying abroad changed my life. It came at a time where I needed a new perspective and with the help of a professor with an incredibly positive mindset, it helped to shape how I view challenges. Here I was able to develop independence, problem solving skills and a newfound love for the great outdoors. During my time studying at the University of Sydney, I volunteered for a Social Media conference in Sydney (anything for a free t-shirt!) for a week listening to all sorts of presentations and discussions about the future of social media. After listening to a tourism social media speaker, I knew I wanted to help others experience the world. While I started in travel and tourism sales, I found my niche in the international education sector. I have really enjoyed bringing international students to the US, but am interested in sending students abroad. Right now I am enjoying my time as a sales associate at Orangetheory while I pursue my masters in international higher education. Once I graduate, I will be looking for opportunities in the study abroad field. Want to know more?
