Charlie is a leading performance psychologist and mental coach who has trained elite performers from a range of different industries, including double-Olympic champions, special forces soldiers, surgeons, musicians, fighter pilots and business executives. As a Mental Coach, Charlie worked with numerous athletes competing at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. Between them they returned with an amazing haul of four gold medals, three silvers and one bronze. Short BiographyA former army officer, Charlie served for six years with the Royal Horse Artillery during which time he served in Iraq as a platoon commander on the front line. A passionate sportsman, Charlie was later seconded to the TeamGB Performance Centre for Modern Pentathlon. He represented TeamGB at the World Championships in 2015. It was during his time as an athlete that Charlie's passion for applied psychology flourished, believing this to be a fundamental contributor towards his achievements, not talent!Whilst gaining a further MSc in Sport Psychology at Brunel University, Charlie won a national postgraduate award for his applied research into motivational climate.Charlie now translates the principles of mental performance to a huge range of clients, all looking to achieve their own aspirations.
