Kompyla Records is the record label which I co-founded in June 2011. I run all aspects of the company with my co-director. Since the company formed we have released a single from By The Rivers and have a deal for further releases/tours which I shall also be Engineering (studio+live), Producing and Mixing. Kompyla Records promote talented musicians and mainly work with urban music.

Since the beginning of 2006 I worked crew for local venue De Montfort Hall and then as backline technician for various bands. This led to me getting the position as Drum and Keys Tech for Fun Lovin' Criminals. I have been with them since summer 2008 touring UK, Europe and Russia. I am very professional with my job and work hard to get the work done, acting fast and efficient. Another roll with FLC is to Stage Manage and look after their monitors / direct the monitor engineer to get the right mix.

Freelance sound engineer. I have worked in a vast amount of venues / festivals around the UK and Europe on various tours with a number of bands. I started my live engineering career in a known Leicester pub called The Donkey. The venue has great live music with a variety of acts performing. A great place to learn as the room and PA can be hard to control.I then found local bands to tour with and engineer for including By The Rivers, These Furrows, Uncle Frank. This has led to playing venues / festivals all over Europe. Gigs include 15 date UK arena tour with By The Rivers supporting The Specials in October 2011. I have been BTRs engineer since they formed and have played many venues and festivals all over UK and Europe. These Furrows, who I have toured with numerous times and played venues such as Shepherds Bush Empire and KOKO. Uncle Frank, who I have worked with for a long time playing various shows and festivals including Summer Sundae.Through other work as backline tech I have also worked FOH for Fun Lovin' Criminals on a couple of occasions and a Radio Riddler tour (FLC side project) supporting Ali Cambel in O2 venues including O2 indigo. From my work touring with these bands and FLC as backline tech I have learnt a lot about the touring world and the industry but also gained valuable knowledge from legendary engineers for FLC. As backline tech I also looked after the bands monitors.

Soft Touch Arts is an organization who run arts workshops for schools, and young people. I have been trained to run and work on workshops for all sorts of arts including music production, video production, animation, photography, photoshop, arts and crafts.I started as a participant on a project when I left college, became a volunteer, then a trainee. This then led to me being offered a part time job which is rare as they only have around 10 people contracted to the company. After half a year I was promoted to full time work. The great thing about this company is that they encourage the employees to go out and gain experience in their field. I then decided to change my position at the company to Freelance Lead Music Worker which enabled me to free up my time to build my engineering career and then still be able to bring that back to the workshops.

Producing music is where I began. I started creating music using Cubase on the Atari. Since then I have used various mediums for recording such as analogue ADAT machines, Digital Hard Disc recorders, PCs,Macs and have built a vast knowledge of programs such as Pro Tools, Logic, Cubase, Ableton and Reason.I have a passion to make music sound as best as it can which is why I got heavily in to engineering and setting up quality recording sessions to mix down. This led to me getting a job for an arts organization called Soft Touch Arts teaching music production and then furthering my personal career with producing for artists and creating quality recordings. Some of the work that I have done include:By The Rivers - EP1 + 2 - Engineered, Produced, Mixed. One Word Single - Mixed. Debut Album - Engineered, Produced, MixedElephant - Engineered/Mixed 2x EPsRadio Riddler - Recorded Drums + extras for many of their recordings.Fun Lovin' Criminals - Recorded Drums for TV purposes.Also produce Hip Hop tracks for a number of artists.
