Arun Perinkolam is the Technology, Media and Telecom Industry Leader for the Deloitte US Cyber & Strategic Risk Services practice. With over 20 years of experience, Arun has had the opportunity to deliver large scale technology and cyber risk transformational initiatives for a number of the world’s leading technology, media and consumer brands. In addition, Arun's leadership experience also involves the designing and scaling of strategic alliances with some of Silicon Valley's leading global technology conglomerates which included joint cyber go to market development, solution & managed services co-development and deployment of high impact, integrated sales and delivery models.In his previous role, Arun served as US and Global Risk Advisory Lead Alliance Partner for Google Cloud where he was responsible for building and scaling high-growth, next-generation cloud and infrastructure security solutions in collaboration with Google to provide customers with end-to-end secure cloud offerings.Arun’s professional services experience over the years spans areas such as Cyber Risk Strategy, Cloud and Core Infrastructure Security, Security Breach Response & Recovery, Third-Party Risk Management, Product Security, M&A, and related methodologies. He frequently speaks and writes on the above topics and has contributed as a thought leader at venues such as RSA, Google Cloud Next, The Wall Street Journal, The Consumer Electronics Show (CES), The Deloitte Review and Deloitte Tech Trends.Arun holds a Masters degree in Computer Science from the University of Southern California, Los Angeles and is deeply passionate about working with and in the community supporting social causes related to children's well-being and their continuous education. Arun currently serves as a board member for the Ronald McDonald House Charities Bay Area.
