RESPONSIBILITIES• Accountable for the branch, leading and inspiring the branch team to achieve the business plan for the branch; ensuring that there is full and consistent compliance to all company policies and procedures.• Review and analyze the store's performance, developing plans in conjunction with the Store Management Team and Regional Support Team and in consultation with the Regional manager, to achieve the store's business plan, identifying and rectify issues as quickly and effectively as possible.• Champion team and individual development in the store, ensuring culture opportunity for all.• Accountable for leading the store team to deliver the company standards every day, across all areas of the store. • Leading by example; knowledgeable, approachable, providing support and coaching where needed to enable the store team to deliver their jobs.• Ensuring that the store team receives timely communication, is informed and engaged with approachable culture of “ask not tell”. • Accountable for customer service standards across the store; including functional service through the execution of various processes; (price / product availability / promotions) to personal service at counters, weighing stations and checkouts.• Ensuring all store customers can complete their full shop in one trip by maximizing on shelf availability. • Maximizing customer loyalty through promotion of reward card.• Maintaining customer satisfaction and creating a good rapport with vendors.

RESPONSIBILITIES*Assessment and acceptance of risk as per the company policy *Assist in identifying risks to be surveyed and risk improvement recommendations follow ups*Processing of all new policies, renewals, endorsements and ensuring that they are done within the set company standards and turn around time*Assisting in the development of underwriting programmes and management information systems. *Assisting in the co-ordination of underwriting activities with the accounts and claims division*To ensure loss ratios are done and risks reviewed accordingly *Monitoring of renewals *Pre-renewal listing *Processing of renewals *Sending of notices *Renewal follow-ups*Handling and responding to general correspondence within the set turnaround time.

-Researching and identifying sales opportunity, generating leads, target identification and classification-Reaching out to new customers and making presentations or pitches outlining the benefits of product/ services.-Understanding the client requirements and then customizing the product/ services as per their needs-Maintaining relationship with all potential and existing clients-Ensuring proper servicing and after sales support to clients-Data reporting to management and gathering market intelligence
