My professional journey began at the Federal University of Minas Gerais, where I earned a degree in Chemistry and completed my master’s in Analytical Chemistry. Coming from a public school background, this was a significant achievement, fueled by my passion for science.In 2004, I joined the Civil Police of Minas Gerais as a Forensic Expert. After relocating to Lavras, I earned a Ph.D. in Agrochemistry from the Federal University of Lavras. Currently, I am pursuing a postdoctoral fellowship in Data Science at the Computer Science Department of UFLA, where I integrate cutting-edge technology with forensic science—a field that excites me profoundly.In 2024, I began working on projects with Cellebrite software and continue to apply Data Science techniques to Public Safety data, leveraging Python and Machine Learning to drive insights and improvements.Key Competencies:Forensic Science: Specializing in criminal forensics with extensive experience in digital forensics.Data Science & Machine Learning: Expertise in Python, Data Analysis, and Machine Learning models applied to forensic investigations.Education & Consulting: Over 22 years of teaching experience in Chemistry, Environmental Management, and Forensics.
