Construction of Al Aflaj Main Road in Al Mudaibi (North al Sharqiyah)Project Intro:Construction of 20.590 km road out of that 6.1 + 5.3 km rehabilitation.Construction of diversion road approximately 11 km for rehabilitation road.Construction of type A Junction at Sinaw Mudhaibhi road, for that diversion relocation ofelectric poles, protection of water line and extension of existing culverts required.Construction of box culverts 4 cell 1 number and 2 cell 2 numbers.Construction of cut-off wall 4.5 km length.Responsibilities: Prepared concrete mix designs for C-15/20, C-25/20 OPC from Premix concrete plant at Ibra with 3 hours retention time. Prepared concrete mix design for C-35/20 OPC+Microsilica+MCI (Migrating Inhibiting Admixture) from Premix concrete plant at Ibra with 3 hours retention time for Box culverts, Cutoff walls. Prepared alternative source for concrete mix designs of C-15/20, C-25/20 OPC from Oman engineering LLC concrete plant at sinaw. Maintained the spray rate of prime coat within the specified tolerance limit at site to avoid the over spraying and bleeding.  Prepared mix design for bituminous base course class-B for main road and diversion roads as per specification. Along with the consultant, inspecting the borrow area for the material suitability of embankment & subgrade filling, colleting the samples, supervising the tests conducted by the lab tech. as required by the ITP. Prepared the proportions for Granular sub base class-B material with the blending of the borrow pit material and wadi sand.  Prepared the proportions for Aggregate base course class-B by testing individual fractions of 38mm, 25mm, 14mm and 5mm crushed sand. Maintaining the calibration of all the lab equipment’s and its log updated.  Conducted daily visit to site with consultant assuring the quality of materials and solving any issues raised by the site engineers.

Duqm, Al Wusta, Oman

Project: Construction of Sultan Said Bin Taimur Road (NR‐32 Southwards) in DuqmIntro:The project is located in Governorate of Duqm Al Wusta Region, The Project consists of 10 km of MainRoad, 3.563 km of Link Road-1 and 0.866 km of Link Road-2, all are as dual carriageways. The proposed dual carriageway Link Road-1 starts near km 13+000 of the Main Road (NR-32) and endson the existing ROP Roundabout on Sultan Qaboos Road. Similarly, Link Road-2 starts near km 1+925of the Link Road-1 and ends on the existing main entrance of 150 villas.The Project involves the construction of about approximate 11 km Service Roads, eight (8) signalizedintersections, sixteen (16) mini roundabouts/cul-de-sacs on service roads; and box culverts and drainagepipes.Responsibilities: Prepared Material approval Sheets for project BOQ items, Method statements andQuality related documents. Arranged for Soil Investigation of the project with the coordination from the third partyagency and after review, submitted the final report to the consultant for approval. Used Geocomposite (Combigrid 40x40, NAUE) material to strengthen the existing loosefoundation at Right of way, box culvert locations and replaced with imported fillmaterial. Prepared mix designs for C‐15, C‐20, C‐25 and C‐30 grades as per OHDS‐2017 with thesuper plasticizing admixture and silica fume. Carried out the mix design/ JMF for Bituminous base course class‐A & class‐B, wearingcourse class‐B as per MS‐2 and Oman specification 2017 requirements. Verified the thickness, degree of compaction as well as the rolling pattern from theprepared trial stretch for GSB, ABC, BBC class‐A and BWC class‐B with theclient/consultant engineers. Ensured the quality of the site activities with lab technicians who performing FDT,concrete slump, temperature & curing, Asphalt laying & temperature control, rock fill,spray rate of prime coat, tack coat and road marking.

Duqm, Al Wusta, Oman

Project: Construction of Roads at Aman District in DuqmIntro:The scope of work of this project involves design & construction of Service Road at Aman District in Duqm. The road will extent 8.3 kilometers long service road located at Aman District in Al Wusta, Duqm, Oman. The project involves four roundabouts, with entrances and exits extending from and leading to Sultan Qaboos Road, along with water drain facilities, protection and removal of existing utilities and LED street lighting system. The road will provide the Royal Oman Police (ROP) facilities and cross-connect with the main road, Sultan Qaboos Road, that connects the Duqm Airport with the Port.Responsibilities: Coordinated with third party peoples to arrange Soil investigation of the project andsubmitted report to the client engineers for approval. Prepared Material approval sheets (MAS) and Method of statements for each activitiesto be performed at site. Ensured the suitability of the existing earthwork materials which falls inside the Right ofWay as per AASHTO M145. Ensured the quality of the embankment, Granular sub base and aggregate base coursematerials as per ASTM, BS and AASHTO standards through quality tests performed bylab technicians at the site laboratory. Carried out the mix designs for C‐15, C‐25 and C‐30 for OPC & SRC Concretes with thecombination of super plasticizing admixture and Corrosion Inhibiting Admixtures. Ensured the SRC concrete pouring at below the foundation level due to the existing soilhaving high sulphate content, i.e the recommendation from the soil investigation report. Ensured the calibrations of Concrete, Asphalt plants and Lab testing Equipment’s andsubmitted the updated record to the client. Coordinated with the client’s representative and conducted weekly site meetings to sortout the quality problems at site.

Duqm, Al Wusta, Oman

Project: Construction of Jurf & Saay Protection Dams in DuqmIntro: The Jurf and Saay dams to be constructed under this contract are located within the SEZAD Duqm development area in Al Wusta Governorate of Sultanate of Oman.Construction of two flood protection Dams Viz Jurf Dam-19 m tall and 1.5km clay core earth fill Dam with Concrete spillway 300 m long and Saay Dam- 16.4 m tall and 3.66 km long with central clay core earth-fill dam with concrete spillway 235m long, Plastic concrete cutoff wall-2 km, GIN method-consolidation and curtain grouting for Dam foundation.Responsibilities: Carried out the mix designs for Foundation Grouts and cement mortars for Curtain andconsolidation grouting with specified properties. Ensured the quality of foundation grouting by testing of their fresh properties at theplant and the pouring point by tests performed by the lab technicians. Carried out the mix designs for C‐30/20 and C‐15/20, Porous Concrete and PlasticConcrete as per the project specification requirements. Made trial stretches for embankment materials and verified the degree of compactionat site related to the laboratory compaction as well as the rolling pattern. Ensured the quality of Clay core material, Granular fill material, filter, drain and Riprapmaterials in accordance with specifications requirements. Ensured the quality of the Clay core material by conducting in‐situ permeability test onthe Clay core material for 24 hours to check the amount of water passes through thecompacted layer. Ensured all the tests carried out by lab technicians in the laboratory for earthwork,concrete and other quality tests are as per the specified frequency/ITP. Prepared and submitted the lab quality report on weekly and monthly basis to theconsultant. Prepared and submitted the Construction Quality Report at the handing over time of theproject.

Project: Construction of Roads at Airport Showroom Zone, Phase 1Responsibilities: Prepared and submitted Material Approval Sheets (MAS), Method statements andMaterial Inspection Reports. Ensured the quality of the embankment, Granular sub base and aggregate base coursematerials as per ASTM, BS and AASHTO standards through quality tests performed bylab technicians at the site laboratory. Carried out the mix design and preparing the JMF for Bituminous base course & wearingcourse as per MS‐2 and OHDS‐2017 requirements. Prepared the concrete mix designs for 15/20 and 30/20 concretes as per ACI 211.1, ACI301 and OHDS‐2017 requirements. Ensured all the tests carried out by lab technicians in the laboratory for earthwork,concrete and other quality tests are as per the specified frequency/ITP.

Al Buraimi Governorate, Oman

Project: Mahadha al‐Rawda Dual Roads and Bridges at BuraimiResponsibilities: Frequently visited to the earthwork and concrete, asphalt aggregates source areas toensure the quality of the materials from the source itself. Conducted daily site visit throughout the project area to resolve the quality relatedissues with the execution teams as well as the consultant. Prepared the concrete mix designs for Class 15, 25, 30 and 40 as per ACI 211.1, ACI 301and OHDS‐2017 requirements. Carried out the Trial mixes and testing for Bridge bearings, Rock anchors, Posttensioning Grouts. Prepared JMF for for Bituminous base course class‐A, wearing course class‐A as per MS‐2 and OHDS‐2017 requirements. Ensured the quality of the embankment, Granular sub base and aggregate base coursematerials as per ASTM, BS and AASHTO standards through quality tests performed bylab technicians at the site laboratory. Ensured all the construction materials are tested as the frequency specified in approvedITP. Prepared and submitted monthly quality report which includes all the lab and sitequality test carried out summary in the respective months. Overall supervision of material laboratory, concrete, asphalt plants and site qualitycontrol.
