CurrentConstruction of Al Aflaj Main Road in Al Mudaibi (North al Sharqiyah)Project Intro:Construction of 20.590 km road out of that 6.1 + 5.3 km rehabilitation.Construction of diversion road approximately 11 km for rehabilitation road.Construction of type A Junction at Sinaw Mudhaibhi road, for that diversion relocation ofelectric poles, protection of water line and extension of existing culverts required.Construction of box culverts 4 cell 1 number and 2 cell 2 numbers.Construction of cut-off wall 4.5 km length.Responsibilities: Prepared concrete mix designs for C-15/20, C-25/20 OPC from Premix concrete plant at Ibra with 3 hours retention time. Prepared concrete mix design for C-35/20 OPC+Microsilica+MCI (Migrating Inhibiting Admixture) from Premix concrete plant at Ibra with 3 hours retention time for Box culverts, Cutoff walls. Prepared alternative source for concrete mix designs of C-15/20, C-25/20 OPC from Oman engineering LLC concrete plant at sinaw. Maintained the spray rate of prime coat within the specified tolerance limit at site to avoid the over spraying and bleeding. Prepared mix design for bituminous base course class-B for main road and diversion roads as per specification. Along with the consultant, inspecting the borrow area for the material suitability of embankment & subgrade filling, colleting the samples, supervising the tests conducted by the lab tech. as required by the ITP. Prepared the proportions for Granular sub base class-B material with the blending of the borrow pit material and wadi sand. Prepared the proportions for Aggregate base course class-B by testing individual fractions of 38mm, 25mm, 14mm and 5mm crushed sand. Maintaining the calibration of all the lab equipment’s and its log updated. Conducted daily visit to site with consultant assuring the quality of materials and solving any issues raised by the site engineers.
