IT must create value for the organization and its stakeholders through an understanding of the context in which they find themselves. More than 30 years of IT experience based on a Bachelor degree in economics upgraded with a Master degree in IT & Organization enable me to add significant value to the enterprise and its stakeholders when it comes to taking on a liaison role in order to improve the alignment state between IT and the business.I have worked in various IT-roles in the automotive- and other industries where I have attended to numerous IT-related tasks like IT project management implementing ERP, CRM, HRM, QMS (TS16949) - and other support systems, SOX IS/IT certification, follow-up on deliveries and SLA’s, change management and sharing of best practice also in an international context.Add to that my 5 international years as Intranet team leader serving thousands of internal customers as a shared resource travelling across Europe. Indeed a broker role that further helped me to understand business issues across sites and sectors, not only from an IT perspective.IT systems are often cross-functional and implementation is much about analyzing and mapping business processes and operations into best practice and in line with the existing IT landscape engaging key stakeholders.I am robust, highly structured and humorous which I believe are essential personal qualities in the intersection between the business and IT.Specialties: Alignment communication and knowledge sharing are preconditions to a mutual understanding between business and IT. Especially when talking about the common understanding between communities of practice. Focusing on this particular area has provided me with a deep theoretical and practical insight in the mechanisms that prevail between interacting groups of knowledge workers.
