I work in a Customer Service / Sales role. It is a challenging role at times dealing with the public but enjoyable. This role involves selling extras like insurance, GPS units, prepaid fuel etc. The challenge is to observe your customer and try to assess their needs, if the car will be big enough for their luggage etc and my eye for detail allows me to be great at this. I also often provide travel advice such as what to do in Queenstown, weather conditions, snow conditions and so on. I have achieved great things with Thrifty and always meet or exceed my sales targets, whilst keeping my focus on Customer service.The job is not only about sales but about working with your team to ensure the vehicle is ready for your customer's on time and in excellent order and its something I work hard to achieve.My love of Travel and being able to work in one of the most beautiful cities in the world make the job all that more special.

I am a Rental Service Officer at Queenstown Airport which involves Renting Out Vehicles and Selling Rental Add ons like Insurance, Snow Cover, Chains, GPS's, Child Seats. This role also involves providing customers with general information about the area which seems to extend to a weather report and information about Road Closures and so on. I also help to plan the day's fleet, damage reports, and management reports.

My role at Europcar Alice Springs Airport involved renting out Vehicles and selling rental add ons like insurance, as well as detailing vehicles, organising fleet, organsing vehicle servicing & repair, filling out Damage Incident Forms and providing reports to management as well as providing customers with general information such as which roads to take, directions to their hotels, best places to visit, eat and so on.

I was responsible for providing Software Support to Property Managers around Australia for all Corporate Owned Offices - for RPM (RUN Property Management Software)I also conduct Trust Accounting & Reconciliations Property Management Trust Accounts in SA & NT using Multi-Array.My main focus is to assist Property Managers across Australia.

I started in Sales and then moved over to Property Management. However after one of the business partners left I moved into an office manager role, undertaking all of the trust accounting in both Sales & Rents as well as supporting both the Sales & property management teams. My duties involved just about all aspects of Real Estate, from signing up new vendors to new landlords, to completing sales contracts or signing up new tenants.

My Roles included Testing ShopFactory Software, Providing Customer Support and Payment Gateway Integrations like Paypal.Support was web-based via email and provided world wide.It involved some Skype calling to walk through demo's with customers who had trouble installing or using the software.The software is E-commerce and multi-lingual so we had to ensure it worked in several languages across multiple browsers.

Natures Creatures Downunder started as a hobby of mine, selling books on specialty topics relating to Animals and Nature. It began as a small website, well before the internet is where it is at today and grew into a physical bricks and mortar store in Boronia.I was owner/operator at the store, managing all aspects, from sourcing books/videos and animal related giftware to marketing, website development, Trade Expos and even book keeping. This was my first introduction to Sales and I learnt a lot about running my own business in a world before Facebook and multimedia where I had to work hard, printing out catalogs attending Dog/Cat Shows, accepting Mail and telephone orders and constantly keeping up to date with trends.I worked long hours and learnt a lot about Sales and the importance of marketing and Customer Service.

During my time at RAMI i worked as an Centura SQL developer, Software Tester. I also worked as a Change Manager ensuring Software which was updated was deployed across the country successfully via a Citrix Environment.I was outsourced to TXU Energy, Data Advantage and Visy Board
