- Assure the quality of all software products and releases being developed by Champ Cargosystems- Support quality testing & assurance processes across Champ’s development environments- Establish & maintain strong positive relationships with development & product management teams- Participate to the definition of test & acceptance methodology.- Write & execute the required test scripts, including acceptance tests, as per plan for the next generation of cargo systems, in the domain of the Air Cargo Business- Fully document testing, functional & technical solutions- Support customer user acceptance testing- Provide business and functional support to the technical teams during development and test programs after completion to ensure they meet the specification- Support both internal and external customers during acceptance testing as required- Assist in the provision of measurable improvement in quality of software deliverables- Contribute significantly to the business growth by identifying and developing tools and processes to improve quality and efficiency of the software testing process- Assist in the development, automation and maintenance of continual process improvement action plan for the testing function- Participate to the definition of the delivery of product management artifacts- Participate to the definition of product management deliverables during development and post (from requirements to user stories)- Participate to the definition of product management templates, requirement types and level, business rules, UI, features, user stories- Participate to the definition of the BO Model for common language, glossary & acronyms- Provide 2nd level support for all new or modified/ enhanced products unless otherwise specified- Remote or on-site customer implementations for products managed by the unit- Provide remote or on-site product training- Support pre-sales activities for Champ Cargosystems products in cooperation with sales organization

- Managing and mentoring 3 direct line reports- Managing the testing cycle in each sprint release and ensuring test delivery targets are met. Flagging any delays and working to resolve issues prior to UAT. - Working as an effective member of the Test and Delivery team - understanding and contributing to the testing process, taking ownership from concept to production in an Agile/Waterfall environment- Provide advice, mentoring and troubleshooting support to other team members - Own quality – all aspects of testing and championing the Test Strategy and Vision- Testing applications written in C#, Java, asp.net- Running basic SQL queries in SQL Server- Assisting UAT from understanding requirements to troubleshooting issues- Derive appropriate, comprehensive tests and scripts from requirements/ user story acceptance criteria and input from Business Analysts and inputting them in Microsoft Test Manager- Develop, execute and maintain tests and scripts for moderate to complex areas of the systems- Identify requirements defects and work with the team to resolve them- Regression Testing.- Excellent analytical and technical problem solving skills with a pro-active approach

- Application Test Lead- Testing in JD Edwards & Oracle ERP reporting product- Interacting with associated development team in an Agile environment- Execution/creation/modification of test scripts for bug fix area using Microsoft Test Manager- Basic configuration/installation of new builds and repositories- Logging defects within Microsoft Team Foundation Server- Ability to do exploratory testing in a complex application- Carrying out release checks and product branding checks prior to a release of a product/service pack

- Responsible for co-ordinating the activities of others involved in testing through the complete life cycle, working within SLA’s. Aiding Project Managers with the release of software and hardware into the live environment.- Building client test environments in preparation of testing. - Carrying out infrastructure component testing activities in accordance with test strategies, plans and procedures. - Experience of a client / server environment - Compatibility testing of Security patches across the environment utilising remote deployment tools such as Radia, SMS, SCCM and Opsware as well as manual installations.- Setting up and maintaining team Intranet page.- Involvement in setting up an environment for User Acceptance Testing and helping users with UAT.- Managing the test schedule in the absence of the scheduling resource.- Scripting using HP Quality Centre 9.1.- Support Projects in producing project related documentation.
