As a Director of Information Technology, I am responsible for the daily maintenance and information assurance for Shakote Management Solutions LLC (SMS). My main goals are to maintain efficient data management by monitoring and testing of SMS servers and network connected devices. I maintain operational requirements for SMS’s network equipment and servers but not exclude end point devices. I complete this by maintaining operational policies and procedure to insure a safe and secure network environment. I have designed the most cost effective infrastructure for SMS and its subsidiaries as well as SMS partner companies. I accomplish this by leveraging the usages of cloud computing, and hybrid cloud infrastructures. Based on the goals of each project, I have not exceeded my budgetary allotment, while maintaining network efficiency. Based on SMS’s and its managed companies usages and trends, I am able to suggest information technology strategies to improve network efficiency and growth. I oversee the disaster recovery procedures and disaster recovery methodology of all SMS and its managed companies; through policies and procedures. By studying SMS and its subsidiaries, user projects, goals, practices, and strategies, I am able to research new technologies to maintain IT effectiveness.

As Senior Systems Engineer I have analyzed customer requirements and provide technical knowledge, systems integration, and relationship management required to implement the appropriate solutions for the customer’s needs. While overseeing the planning, penetration testing, design and implementation of system engineering projects for Home and Business Technology Solutions (HBTS), I provide day-to-day administration and upkeep of servers, storage, and network devices. I provide technical pre- and post-sales support to our clients including installation and training and coordinate and prioritize customer problem resolutions keeping in line with, HIPPA, NIST, ISO/IEC JTC 1/SWG 6, WG 10, SC 6, SC 25 and SC 40, standards. This is accomplished by implementing IT policies with annual revisions. In working with physicians’ offices and government hardware providers, strict network and IT policies are mandatory. Skilled in storage, virtualization, and penetration testing and network security, I have met all our clients’ needs, and in most cases saved the client money.

As a Lead Information Technology Specialist, I am responsible for the daily maintenance and monitoring of Veteran Solutions, Inc. (VSI) network and network connected devices. I have designed, planned, and implemented networks for VSI and its partner companies. While maintaining business continuity and budgetary requirements. I have researched and planed future integration of new technologies to improve network stability and promote growth. I have worked closely with VSI clients and partners to mitigate or resolve network errors and inconsistences. I have managed Information technology projects for VSI and its partner company in addition to providing help desk functions. I have tracked network trends and usage to prepare recommendations to VSI’s and its partners for improvement. I have integrated multiple off the shelf products to sustain or increase network connected devices performance. I have written and maintained all IT policies that govern access, use, destruction, change, and dissemination of IT equipment. I have prepared and delivered annual IT training for VSI employees in order to maintain IT compliance with VSI and clients’ needs.

As a Field Technical support for Brooks Eckerd, I was responsible for the network devices and connected devices for thirty six stores in Maryland and Delaware. I was given my daily jobs from a proprietary ticketing system where I had to maintain the service level agreement (SLA). The bulk of my job consisted of servicing and maintenance of the network equipment and servers. I’ve seen over the installation of the network infrastructure and supported cabling contractors. Once completed, I installed the network equipment and network connected devises while maintaining business continuity. I have performed in an on-call rotation with other technicians that supported five east coast states. One major part of my daily responsibilities was to maintain a very accurate asset database that was audited monthly. With Rite Aid I have repaired and maintained a robotic pill dispensing unit after completing training.
