Production Specialist - Supervisor
Current• Responsible for reproduction projects utilizing advanced knowledge of reprographics, production methods and equipment (i.e., color and black and white copiers, binding, laminating, folding, and cutting equipment and other reprographic machines). • Assisted Print Production Coordinator as Back-up Coordinator, dispersing incoming projects and proposals to designers, document specialists and proofreaders, locally and nationally. Responded appropriately to ad-hoc requests, while assuring compliance with quality control standards, reviewing finished projects for branding, quality and accuracy. Estimated material and labor costs for projects and performed cost analysis to assure effective and efficient operational mode. Operated copiers, dry mounting press and various peripheral printing and bindery machines and equipment in a timely manner.• Provide reproduction recommendations and options to team members and customers on a project-by-project basis. • Monitor the Reprographic Cluster queues throughout the day, evaluate capacity in the reprographics area and expedites distribution of print work worldwide.• Manage complex production projects; evaluate color quality of printing and copying and responsible for digital pre-press. • Maintain appropriate supply inventory and acts as a liaison with supply/print vendors.• Produce cost estimates and reports detailing copier volumes and supply costs.• Effective Project Management skills responsible for all phases of project management; work effectively in a team environment.• Received multiple awards for outstanding customer service, project management, and exceeding customer expectations.
