I fell in love with product management while I was working with customer success. Bringing my in-depth customer knowledge to the developers and figuring out sustainable solutions was the best part of my job. I always wanted to know the root cause for bugs, and learn exactly why my ideas were either good or bad from a technical point of view. Lucky for me, I had amazing developers by my side, and they patiently answered all my questions and taught me so much. I eventually got really good at coming up with solutions that were "light" in code and low risk but solved the problem long-term.I started studying product management in my free time, in fact, I barely did anything else for several months. I eventually began my quest to find a promising, early-stage startup where I could get trusted to grow into this new role. I looked for a product that's solving a worldwide problem with a great solution, inspiring vision, and amazing people. That's how I found Substly!
