Hi there! I'm Pernille, and I'm really into mental health, research, and strategic thinking. My background and current roles might seem diverse, but they all revolve around preventing and tackling mental illness. Here, I've summarized my expertise, key skills, and where I apply them.Hailing from Denmark, I moved to the US in 2013 to complete my B.S. in Psychology at UC Berkeley. My enduring fascination with human development, especially psychological well-being, led me to explore early childhood's impact on behavior and brain development. Pursuing a PhD at Emory University in 2015, I focused on how genetic predisposition shapes brain development. In 2021, I became a postdoctoral fellow at Harvard Medical School, delving into sensory perception's role in mental health and well-being. I left Harvard to bridge the gap between academia and society, passionate about using education, technology, and peer-to-peer communities to nurture a physically and psychologically healthy world for future generations.I currently exercise my skills as:1.
