I am currently enrolled in the Master's program in Sustainable Fisheries and Aquaculture at DTU AQUA in Hirtshals. My goal is to bridge the gap between ecology, sociology, and economics in the exploitation of marine resources by communities in the Arctic coastal areas, the North Sea, and inner waters. I aspire to contribute to the understanding of the diverse and vulnerable ecosystems along the coast and in the oceans, providing sustainable advice on marine resources.With a background in Fisheries Engineering (BEng) and two years of experience living in Greenland, I have the ideal foundation to advance my expertise in the fisheries sector. My interests span management, production, and capture technology, and I am dedicated to promoting sustainable practices in marine resource management.Since 2016, I have had study-relevant work within the laboratory industry, where I have, among other things, worked with analysis of soil and building material samples, geotechnics and insect production. Next to the study of fisheries technology, i can now be found as a guide in the Nordsøen Oceanarium.
