After gaining valuable experience in consulting and private equity, I joined my family's business in the fashion industry, where I embarked on a journey that honed my leadership and strategic skills. At Duror Fashion Group, we designed and distributed the Terre Bleue, Gigue, and Zilton fashion brands, and operated a chain of flagship stores.Initially, I took on roles in Business Development and as Product Manager for the men's line, where I spent four years shaping our product offerings and driving growth. To further enhance my expertise, I pursued an MBA at INSEAD, which equipped me with a broader strategic perspective.Following my MBA, I returned to the family business as Commercial Director, overseeing Sales, Marketing, and our Retail division. For five years, I led our commercial operations, driving brand expansion and strengthening our market presence. During this time and under my supervision, we also completed the acquisitions of Gigue and Zilton. In 2019, I was appointed CEO to navigate the company through its most challenging period. The impact of COVID-19 was severe, and the financial health of the company was significantly compromised due to the store closures and impact on consumer demand. Despite implementing stringent budgetary measures and steering the company towards operational efficiency, we were ultimately unable to secure a refinancing round. After four years of dedicated effort, the company, though still cash flow positive, was unfortunately forced to file for bankruptcy.This experience, while challenging, has solidified my expertise in crisis management, operational restructuring, and leading teams through adversity. I am now open to new opportunities as a CEO, where I can leverage my diverse background to drive success in a small to mid-sized company.
