Lead, plan, coordinate and implement the Johnson Space Center’s transition activities in support of the Space Shuttle, International Space Station and emerging programs. These activities include property, facility and data disposition, acquisition strategies, workforce planning, budget planning/cost-sharing, risk management, communication, supplier viability, environmental requirements and historic preservation. Also includes the integration of future requirements for JSC-based capabilities and gap analysis identification, mitigation and coordination with NASA Headquarters.

Managed, directed, coordinated and supervised all of the activities of the Planning and Integration Office in the Center Operations Directorate. Planned, designed and developed long-range strategic facility requirements to meet the needs of all JSC organizations at JSC and remote locations, including the White Sands Test Facility and the government-owned, contractor-operated facilities at Palmdale, California. Provided overall program/project control and guidance of the Construction of Facilities program, including negotiating with other centers and NASA Headquarters for JSC project approval. Managed the development and maintenance of all real property records under the jurisdiction of JSC and validated reported data to NASA Headquarters. Managed and planned for center unique requirements related to space utilization and presented options for facility space to JSC Management. Oversaw development of facility master plan with regard to land use, future needs of the Center and proposed placement of buildings and infrastructure. Supervised concept development and implementation of JSCs energy management program, including budget, project planning and administration. Analyzed JSC facilities for potential historic significance in accordance with the regulations of the National Park Service and the Advisory Council on Historic Preservation. Consulted with the Texas State Historic Preservation Office on eligibility and recordation documentation.
