Perri McCarthy is an experienced community pharmacist, having been an independent pharmacy owner for more than 25 years in Melbourne, and 6 years in regional Victoria. After purchasing her first pharmacy at just 29 in the CBD, she has combined her passion for helping people with a determination to bring the best quality advice and service to her customers across all of her Pharmacy NEO locations. She works collaboratively with her loyal team to build a positive, rewarding and satisfying experience for all. Always up for a challenge and with an extensive knowledge of how to build a thriving business, Perri’s depth and breadth of industry expertise has allowed her to stay ahead of the game in an increasingly competitive and difficult market.Covid presented huge challenges for Perri’s two CBD stores. With 80% of her customers pre-Covid being office workers, and workers still not back in the city in a meaningful way, Perri closed the two Melbourne CBD stores in 2022. All the wonderful staff are still with the group, and it’s a credit to Perri that she has made it a priority to look after all her staff through this very difficult time. Over the journey, Perri has owned 8 pharmacies, and currently owns 3, where she is actively working and supporting her staff and communities. She loves what she does!Perri is a mother of three young adults who bring her much joy.
