At AccessDx our goal is to help patients receive personalized medicine by making it easier for patients to access personalized medicine tests (PMDx). It is our core belief that there is no personalized medicine without the direct involvement of a PMDx to help direct care. We want to bridge the gap by having a network of interested allies (patients, patient advocacy groups, physicians, payors, and PMDX companies) working together to deliver personalized medicine.Our network called the AccessDx Alliance is the platform for observational/registry trials to take place with the goal of:validating the personalized medicine diagnostic tests (PMDx) in a real world setting (majority of cancer care is performed by the community oncologists not at the major academic centers. Yet most trials take place at these academic centers) collecting clinical utility data to demonstrate better patient outcomes. (Making sense of big data)integrating the PMDx tests that have "passed the test" into standard care. (combining clinical outcomes and patient reported data to represent true value)providing payors a standardized pathway for medical policy adoptionThere are many networks that have been developed to perform clinical trials for drug therapies. However, there are no networks exclusively devoted to validate PMDx tests. AccessDx is the devoted network for PMDx tests.
