PERRY HUNT graduated from Butler University with a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre and a minor in Communication Sciences and Disorders. Senior year, she presented a curriculum on theatre education for autistic students at the Undergraduate Research Conference. She is continuing her education at the University of Illinois Chicago pursuing a Masters in Education in Special Education and plans to become a registered drama therapist.She now is located in Chicago where she works as a teaching artist. Perry has taught with Auditorium Theatre, Idea Box Integrated Arts, Chicago Children’s Theatre, South Chicago Dance Theatre, and St. Sabina Academy.Perry produces and writes for Stop Motion Plant an ensemble of storytellers performing theatrical works in Chicago. She also co-hosts a podcast called Riff Raff Revolution, with Knavery Ink. The podcast interviews womxn, LGBTQIA+, and BIPOC comedians about their careers, process, and the community.
