Perry is an Attorney At Law of over nineteen years experience and is a member of the Bars of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines ("SVG") and Saint Christopher (Kitts) and Nevis ("SKN"). He is a former Crown Counsel/prosecutor and has been an Associate at the Law Firms of Hughes & Cummings Chambers, at the time the oldest Law Firm in SVG, and Daniel, Brantley & Associates, the largest Firm in SKN. He is also a Notary Public in SVG and SKN. As Crown Counsel, Perry prosecuted numerous cases representing the office of the Director of Public Prosecutions in all Courts in SVG. He was co-counsel for the Crown in a high profile murder case in SVG; the State v Eric Rodrigues, an indictment brought against the then Superintendent of Prisons for the alleged murder of a prisoner in custody. He was counsel for the Respondent in Ken Thomas v RBTT Bank Caribbean Limited, a defining Court of Appeal judgement of the region, which established a new stricter approach to the rule governing applications to set aside default judgments. Perry has represented clients in numerous matters involving unlawful state action and conduct. He appeared in the matter of Santos Perez v the Nevis Island Administration, a case involving the local island administration's unlawful revocation of work permits (the permits were restored). He was also involved in the case of Angis Palmer and others v the Supervisor of Elections ("SOE") and others, a case brought two days before the Nevis Island Assembly elections in 2011, against the SOE for the unlawful removal of the Claimants' names from the list of registered voters. Dail Crawford v The Public Service Commission reaffirmed an exception to the rule that a Claimant seeking aggravated/exemplary damages must say so in a claim. He was also involved as counsel for a Defendant in a Disciplinary Tribunal established by the Medical Board of SKN in 2019, the first of its kind to be convened in the Federation. Perry currently practices in Basseterre, Saint Kitts.
