Responsible for the operation and direction of a not-for-profit AIDS service organization with an annual budget of $6 million, 85 volunteers, and 44 staff. Coordinated a $5.6 million dollar capital project to build a new 26,000 square foot building to house 22 persons who are homeless with HIV as well as a site for the agency programs and headquarters completed in Nov 2017. Create and develop innovative HIV/AIDS prevention and care services for the 17 county region of upstate New York. Supported and increased a culture of empathy and trauma-informed approaches. Researched, secured, and managed over $12.6 million in grant initiatives. Plan and execute yearly fund development activities. Advocate on behalf of a diverse population of people living with HIV/AIDS. Coordinate fundraising efforts, organize volunteers and board members, and collaborate with over 28 local agencies. Educate legislators, business leaders, students, and community groups on HIV/AIDS issues. Responsible for the creation of the Treasure Chest (1999), Smart Meals (2001), Pets are Wonderful Support (PAWS) (2003), Foundations for Living (2012) program, Mpower!
