The Green Schools Alliance is an international organization of over 8,000 schools and districts (faculty, staff and students) working together to implement sustainable energy and climate solutions that benefit their communities. ~ Developed and implemented sustainability leadership training programs for diverse school professionals and students from around the world. ~ Ensured effective systems to track scaling progress, and regularly evaluated program components to measure successes that could be effectively communicated to the board, funders, and other constituents. ~ Established successful partnerships with governmental agencies, non-profit organizations, and public and private schools. ~ Collaborated on teams to develop strategic plans, grant proposals, conference presentations, fundraising and marketing materials, website design, and educational programming. ~ Grew member participation in Green Schools Alliance programs with a focus on underserved schools. ~ Managed the collaborative work of The District Alliance, a group of sustainability professionals representing 20 of the nation’s largest school districts.
