I have spent a vast majority of my working life in a Support position. Initially this included ad-hoc repair of modems and other hardware, and writing instructional documentation by simply playing with devices.I have since progressed to analytical roles, including forecasting and call center metric analysis. I have an eye to see patterns and trends, and can plot these to provide a decent forecast. I am also mindful of events that cause variations to these, such as Public Holidays, marketing initiatives, and seasonal patterns.I have never been one to simply accept what is. I recently watched my colleagues meticulously pour over rosters checking for rule adherence. When I understood what was required, I wrote a simple Excel script that did the task in seconds, and was 100% accurate.I pride myself on my eye for details. I will check and re-check if things do not "look"​ right. I'm certainly not shy in asking questions if I am unsure of anything.I am a prolific note taker, and will document procedures for my own use. I have also used these notes to provide generic documentation for others to follow.Apart from being logical and methodical, I bring a humanistic side to Support as well. I have served in retail and in a call center, so I do have a feel how agents perceive the services I provide to them. We all have a life outside work and I offer my Support services in a way that is informative, instructional, humorous if possible, and above all without prejudice.
