CurrentServes as the Work Authorization Form Coordinator (WAFCOR) for Técnico Corporation, a marine and industrial services provider for local clients and various shipyards with ship repair/services covering a wide range of industrial, electrical, hull, mechanical, structural, paint and coating systems, and various other products and services. Responsible for the coordination and administration of the work authorization processes. Receives, compares, reviews, and processes all Work Authorization Forms (WAFs) and Technical Work Documents (TWDs). Responsible for providing training for all WAF and tag-out requirements to all departments. Acting liaison for all repair activities in matters of WAFs and Tag-outs with the goal of complying with all requirements and maintaining a database of results, violations, and corrective actions. References various requirements and regulations including documents such as NAVSEA Standard Items, including NAVSEA Standard Item 009-106, Joint Fleet Maintenance Manuals (JFMMs), Work Item Specifications, and tag-out user manuals for all repair activities throughout the course of ship’s repair availability.
