Techology was born out of my passion for technology and engineering. We provide solutions for media, education, gaming, events, etc. We use gaming software to deliver business solutions and engineer new platforms to display them on. Some of our projects include interactive glass walls using projection, interactive dinner tables, 360 degree theaters, portable digital interactive media stands, gaming and educational apps. We are currently working on 'the internet of things'(IOT) projects using gaming software to gamify interaction with 'things' in the real world.

Moonstone Technologies was established as a resourcing company supplying highly skilled COBOL developers into the banks. Later a training academy was established to equip individuals with the knowledge to program in COBOL and understand the mainframe environment. The key was to uplift previously disadvantaged groups in a dying skill set. accordingly the training was done on a bursary basis to make it available to anybody with the correct aptitude. The business model hinged on the recovery of the training costs returning from employers in the form of placement fees. The academy successfully produced two classes of well educated Cobol programmers.

My primary role was system ownership and I was the technical lead on a number of projects on mainframe based systems, the largest being the SOA integration of CIS.While at Nedbank I had the privilage of performing the Support and Development Management role in managing major systems. At varying durations, the following systems formed part of my portfolio while at Nedbank.CIS, Card, Profile Backend, Ricos, Siebel.I was also tasked with performing the CRM function on behalf of Nedbank for CSC local and Nihilent Technologies India.

I started out as a Cobol/CICS programmer in the Money Transfers team at Standard Bank. Within two years I was made Manager of the team and was only 24 at the time. After successfully managing the Money Transfers area the Statements area was added to my portfolio.
