We make premium vegan ribeyes with an authentic texture 🌱🥩I oversee product development, commercialization, and operations.On a day-to-day level, this means that I do a bit of everything! My favorite part is still tasting everything we make, but it's also pretty fun to see finished product get shipped out the door!

I led the hardware development for machines that make plant-based steak. I also worked closely with the formulation team (the machine informs formulation and vice versa).Of course, as with any small startup, I also did a bit of everything! This included helping with consumer testing, setting up systems to store and share data, participating in hiring, and (my favorite part), tasting everything!

I provide design services, technical feedback, and project management services related to microfluidics. I have helped clients enter the space by providing equipment recommendations, initial set-up and training, and initial device/chip designs. I have also helped clients by overseeing device development and testing from an initial prototype phase all the way to procuring and evaluating pre-production chips/devices from contract manufacturers. The majority of my work has been in the biotechnology sector, but I am not limited to this field alone.

I worked as a postdoctoral fellow in the laboratory of David A. Weitz at Harvard University. My current research sat at the intersection of microfluidics and biology, where I developed microfluidic techniques and workflows to enable quantitative biology.

Member of the Soft Condensed Matter Laboratory under Dr. Alberto Fernandez-Nieves. I worked with both active and passive liquid crystals, and focused on understanding how the intrinsic liquid-crystalline order interacts with curved surfaces and boundaries.

Taught laboratory and recitation sections, grade homework and tests, and tutor students in Physics 2211, calculus-based mechanics. Occasionally lectured, held weekly office hours, and graded homework and tests for Physics 3141, Thermodynamics. Developed laboratory modules for Physics P21CS, Physics for 21st century students. Developed and ran laboratory modules for a graduate student course in Soft Matter Physics.

Assisted with laboratory sessions, tutored students, and graded homework assignments for General Physics 31, calculus-based Electricity and Magnetism.

Served as the team leader for the Dynamic Transmission Electon Microscope (DTEM) Clinic Team at Harvey Mudd College. The project was sponsored by Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory. Developed a test bed to evaluate the photocathode for a DTEM in order to overcome limiting factors in the current setup. As team leader, managed the four-person team and interacted with the project liasons.

Characterized the binding of antibodies to gold nanospheres in order to mark growing corneal cells. Used Optical Coherence Tomography to assay phenotype expression of marked corneal tissue in vivo as part of a larger corneal engineering project.

Designed and built an apparatus to produce high energy electrons via pulling Scotch sticky-tape in a vacuum. Designed a mechanical system to measure the spectrum of the emitted electrons from the sticky-tape apparatus

Collaborated as a member of a team to design and implement a GUI in Python for particle analysis for the BaBar Collaboration.
