    We the People Theatre was founded shortly after the 2016 presidential election at another time when are country was divided. There was a need to bring our community together and find ways to facilitate meaningful conversations. That need is clearly ongoing and theatre provides a powerful means to address it. Our mission is to produce quality productions that inspire conversations in the community. We have produced four very successful productions- 1776 in 2018 and Working in 2019. All Together Now in 2021 and Something Rotten this spring. Our 2020 production of Man of La Mancha was shuttered four days before opening because of the pandemic. Our company is comprised of local actors and singers who participate for the love of the craft.
