I am currently serving as a member of the United States Department of Agriculture's United States Forest Service Spectrum Management/Engineering Division. I recently served as the the Director of the Mission Systems Flight for the 89th Communications Squadron where I exercise supervisory and managerial authorities over the Mission Systems Flight.Prior to serving in my current role, I served as an Electronic Warfare Officer with the Defense Information Systems Agency where I served as the subject matter expert for the Joint Electromagnetic Spectrum Operations. My responsibilities included providing technical engineering and field engineering support to enable the Defense Spectrum Organization (DSO) the ability to carry out its responsibilities under JEMSO. I maintained oversight and I was the technical expert in JEMSO. I represented the DSO at meetings when required, and provided advice, provided comments, and took notes based on my technical experience and recommendations. I utilized a variety of databases to provide sound advice and decisions in regards to JEMSO synergy. Prior to joining DISA, I served as the subject matter expert for the Joint Spectrum Interference Resolution Program for Calvert Systems Engineering. Before working for Calvert, I faithfully served 21 years in the United States Air Force where I was primarily an Electromagnetic Spectrum Manager. I served as a Combatant Command Spectrum Manager for United States Africa Command. I was also one of 7 Joint Command Spectrum Managers for the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Defense Spectrum Organization (DSO) Joint Spectrum Center (JSC). While at the JSC, I was responsible for training DoD Spectrum Managers on the latest Spectrum Management tools and software. I also served as one of two Major Command (MAJCOM) spectrum managers for Headquarters Air Force Special Operations Command (AFSOC) where I was responsible for all radio frequency resources for all of AFSOC's spectrum using customers around the globe. My communications background began as a satellite communications (SATCOM) operator and technician.
