Responsible for sales of snow and ice management services to commercial property managers. Contact prospective property managers, create price proposals and make presentations. During the snow season closely communicate with customers with plan of action before and during a snow or ice storm and dispatch work crews for most effective and efficient service. Track crews’ progress online using a call-in system where trackers enter start and stop times. Supervise area managers who visit properties to check on quality of crews’ work.

Managed all production functions which included job price estimates, prepress and graphic design, offset printing, digital color printing, bindery and mailing services. Other key functions included business to business selling and marketing, consulting with customers on design and print options, quality control, hiring and firing of employees, performance reviews, buying product, equipment and outsourced print jobs. In addition managed all financial aspects of the operation including payroll, taxes, health benefits, accounts receivable and payable and profit and loss statement analysis. Used many PC and Mac applications including MS Word and Excel and Printsmith.

Responsible for the operation and profitability of the company’s store location research department. Managed a staff of three managers, eight market analysts, three research assistants and two administrative assistants. Responsible for strategizing market position and determining sales potential for various store types and locations across the country. Key functions included critiquing analyst’s results, strategy presentations to senior management, instituting new research methods for more accurate results, interfacing with other departments to implement market strategy, work scheduling, hiring and firing, performance reviews, creating and managing a budget.
