I thoroughly enjoyed my time with Realty Trends, the best specialized boutique broker. However moving to Greeley required me to join a broker with a presence in Northern Colorado. So, now I'm back with HomeSmart. A truly impressive broker that is well established all over Colorado.

Realty Trends is a great fit for me as it allows me to leverage technology like no other broker before has been able to do. For example, Realty Trends utilizes 19 different reports for virtually every neighborhood. Also, we have access to the sales data of every agent so we know who we are working with on the other side of every transaction.With this data, we have the ability to quickly and effectively negotiate the best prices for our clients (buyers and sellers alike).This will greatly benefit my buyers and sellers in price negotiation, trend analysis, and helping my clients make the right decisions. Giving them critically important data and analysis will allow them to make their decisions logically and not let emotion get in the way.

HomeSmart is great broker. After the acquisition of Cherry Creek Properties, HomeSmart became one of the biggest, highest producing Brokerages in the State.

Joining Cherry Creek Properties LLC was shortlived due to the acquisition by HomeSmart. They had over 1,500 agents state wide and were growing every day.

Equity was a great Broker to work for. They have excellent training and I learned many things while I was with Equity.

This is where I cut my teeth in real estate. I learned quickly and benefited greatly from my mentors there.

 Supporting all versions of SQL Server, 2000, 2005, 2008 r2 and 2012 on virtualized servers running on an EMC SAN System using VMware. Data replicated using Avamar. Documented disaster recovery, existing sub systems, best practices and on-call duties. Performed on-call duties, pushed releases stored in Team Foundation Server from QA into production, managed security and monitored systems using Idera SQL Diagnostics Manager. Performed index tuning, removed unused multi-column clustered indexes, removed unused non-clustered indexes, assisted in removing triggers, supported SSIS packages and SQL Agent tasks. Supported transactional replication from production to the report server. Initially created dashboard reports for CEO and management team, assisted in optimizing queries to run in minutes versus hours. Assisted in automating manual data pulls.

 Wrote over 60 stored procedures on SQL Server 2008 R2 to process business rules for foreclosure fee calculations. Combined, the team wrote over 400 procedures to process over 8,000 business rules. Procedures had to be created using the business rules without sample data. Was able to find several improvements in existing procedures which were implemented after helping the team see the benefit of making the changes. Project was abruptly shut down resulting in a month gap in work history.

 Worked on reporting team supporting over 150 clients by producing and maintaining complex reports using SSRS and SSAS on SQL Server 2005. These reports are used to improve service level agreements through analysis of Siebel ticketing systems. Provided Tier 3 Learning Management Systems (LMS) support for multiple clients using SQL Server ad hoc queries. Communicated complex technical concepts to management and client representatives. Wrote several documents outlining support processes which greatly helped transfer 80% of onshore workload to Bangalore. Coached and mentored Bangalore and Chicago team members improving their ability to support existing clients. Managed delicate client relationships with client leads and management to maintain SLA requirements. Also explained scope and technical logistics of several fixes and work arounds.

Developed financial strategies for clients based on needs and objectives using various financial, insurance products and software systems. From 2002 to 2004 I worked for Country Insurance and Financial Services as a Property Casualty agent.

 Rewrote complex rating algorithm logic in Transact SQL on SQL Server 2000 to handle new business requirements. Performed database development and maintenance of Transact SQL application logic.  Managed contractor team by delegating and scheduling software development tasks. Managed several SQL Servers. Established replication of off-site databases to ensure full redundancy of insurance quoting systems on primary Internet web site. Coordinated with Cold Fusion developers to align front end with backend functionality more efficiently. Used Visual Source Safe and StarTeam to control development cycles and change request.

 Wrote complex SQL procedures supporting EDI, GPO pricing, contracts and rebates. Converted live production ERP system (Baan) from SQL Server 6.5 to SQL Server 7.0 Beta  Took initiative to create/present proposal to management to justify relocation and upgrade of network servers including the addition of a SQL Server cluster server. This resulted in much greater security, increased redundancy in power and battery backup systems and installation of a climate control system and raised flooring. Convinced management to fund development team after having worked closely with internal users through requirements gathering to define how to best integrate existing business requirements into new ERP software (Baan for NT).  Built and managed Intranet development team to deliver real time product data with greater efficiency and simplicity. Negotiated funding for Intranet based reporting system that provided critical data that reduced manual tasks and integrated rapid delivery of business information to end-users. Managed Intranet team in developing solutions to reduce manual task handling on an average 60% to 80%. Defined and had sales order status application developed that reduced shipping errors by over 90%. Improved customer requests for order status from 20 minutes to real time.
