International Space Station Robotics Training Instructor tasks include instructing astronauts and other personnel in ISS robotic operations to expand their fundamental robotics knowledge and proper procedure execution.Completed the Mission Operations Directorate (MOD) Instructor Skills Course and Generic Robotics Training (GRT). Additionally certified to instruct flight controllers and astronaut candidates in GRT lessons.

Performed engineering analysis using a tool simulating a 3D graphics environment of the ISS. Generated and modified CAD models for the graphics simulation program used for robotics mission planning. Worked with customers to ensure all required products for mission designers, flight controllers, and training facilities were completed on-time and error free.

Space Shuttle Payload Deployment and Retrieval Systems (PDRS) flight controller supporting the Robotic Manipulator System (RMS) mission operations from the Mission Control Center at NASA Johnson Space Center. Responsible for assessing the RMS structural and thermal environment, and monitoring electrical systems, commanded inputs, telemetry data, and computer systems during operations. Supported integrated simulations and real-time console operations to ensure the robotic system and crew performs maneuvers as expected in accordance with flight rules. Conducted pre-flight tag-ups and mission debriefs with engineers, instructors, management, flight controllers, and astronauts to provide mission direction and capture lessons learned.Supported 14 Shuttle missions ranging from console support to real-time contingency replanning and integration. On STS-132/ULF4, coordinated, developed, and integrated a workaround procedure across multiple teams to relieve a snagged sensor cable preventing a required inspection of the Orbiter's panels; an effort that allowed for complete mission success and enabled MCC to allow the vehicle/crew to return safely to Earth.

Space Shuttle and International Space Station Robotics Mission Designer. Tasks include mission planning, interdisciplinary coordination, and supporting flight operation review panels and mission integration planning forums. Worked with various teams to generate Space Shuttle activity timelines to complete all mission objectives safely and efficiently. Developed robotic procedures for astronaut crews based on mission requirements and extensive flight rules using 3-D modeling software and Dynamic Simulation Trainers (DSTs).Mission Designer for Orbital's Cygnus and SpaceX's Dragon vehicles as part of NASA's Commercial Orbital Transportation Services (COTS) program to deliver crew and cargo to the ISS.Served as Lead Robotics Mission Designer for Space Shuttle Missions STS-119 and STS-132, and backup for STS-123. Volunteered to pioneer training in all three aspects of Robotics in support of the branch's approach to a Top Gun training structure for flight control, analysis, and instruction. Led efforts to redesign the training flow and provided recommendations to management maximizing efficiency and allowing for a more effective training program.
