While at Novant Health as manager of the Network Operations Center, Service Desk, and Data Center Services teams, I enjoyed being involved in multiple aspects of working with other great teams and supporting the team members at Novant Health. We used tools and solutions such as ServiceNow, SolarWinds, and Citrix to name a few. The three teams I managed consist of 30+ team members who field all service desk calls, monitor the network, and perform hardware installs, removals, and other services in our data centers and hospitals. For these teams, I expanded and matured the teams' realm of responsibility and accountability. I developed, designed, and documented new procedures for playbooks and operating procedures, as well as training, tool use, and metric goals for all three team departments. Supported numerous mergers and acquisitions of new locations. With over 9 years of experience in Instructional Design and Training Development at Novant Health and Microsoft, I led the creation and delivery of training and the implementation of electronic health records at Novant Health for the Radiology application in Epic. I thrived in the challenge of preparing users for such a large scale rollout to thousands of users. I also directed, created, and edited videos for various uses in the company.At Microsoft, and through my own company I created, and delivered advanced customized instructional materials for Windows, Exchange, Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint to instruct and develop skills for in-depth worldwide enterprise technical support training as well as for various corporate locations within the Charlotte area.
