Following one year as a team tutor, promoted to the senior academic position of Boston’s elite women’s U19 ice hockey club responsible for:➢ Establishing and implementing academic plans for high school-aged, college-bound players moving to the Boston area fromacross the US, Canada, and other countries➢ Overseeing a program and student body that grew from 6 individuals to as many as 24 high school-aged student-athletes➢ Hiring and managing the staff of subject-specific tutors, along with personally tutoring in mathematics and the sciences➢ Assisting high-performing student-athletes in the college application process and navigating the NCAA Eligibility Center➢ Acting as the organization’s primary interface with parents on matters of their daughters’ education, as well as liaising withcolleges, high schools, online academic programs, and international program directors➢ Coordinating solutions to often complex education issues that have involved disabilities and disparate cultures

A tutoring engagement evolved into more than a decade-long position assisting the student’s parent, a busy corporate executive, manage his household, family schedule, and maintenance of multiple properties.

Working one-on-one with high school, undergraduate, and graduate students in their homes or via Skype/Zoom on subject matter knowledge, test preparation, projects, essays, and homework with a goal of overall grade improvement.
