Wrote and and maintained a networked 3D frame rendering system (Render Farm), a 3D model product publishing system, as well as directing numerous media and marketing projects of various sizes.

Worked with team members to design and implement advanced functionality in a unique 3D compositing system, ‘3DfilmXP’. Work involved use of software engineering tools like Enterprise Architect, and software toolkits such as Qt, OpenGL, After Effects Plugin SDK, among others. Emphasis in cross platform GUI and internal filters and media database.

Lead a development team for products with networked telephone, video, and broadcast equipment. Developed client software and protocol stacks Using C++, (ATL, and MFC), ActiveX and COM, Delphi and Visual Basic. Upper tier applications were developed using Delphi, MFC, or Visual Basic, and object-oriented data/communication abstracts COM/ActiveX using C++. Also developed cross-platform libraries for networking, file systems, data serialization and process management. Responsible for product life cycle from detailed specification, data design, communications design, Application and GUI design, implementation, test, deployment and training.

Added new protocol and GUI support to a VxWorks based router management software package, designed for use with video routers. All work in C++ using MFC and StingRay’s Objective Grid and Objective Toolkit software development kits. Developed object-oriented serial and TCP/IP communications C++ classes for protocol support.

Developed and Improved existing data collection procedures and analysis tools for natural gas measurement, provided integrated support. I was responsible for deployment of Windows and OS/2 installations, and remote TCP/IP installations. Software development work done with Microsoft Visual C++ and Visual Basic.
