Located in the heart of Barcelona, this 4 stars Superior Boutique franchised contract hotel with 116 rooms and 4 meeting rooms is now equiped with new Terrace and Swimming Pool Relax area (planned and built during 2015).
I have been the maximum responsible for the rebranding and transition for this hotel (previously having fullfilled Doubletree by Hilton standards), which was succesfully achieved in December 2013, respecting the original “transition” date.

Being an open minded professional I have good skills in leadership focused on my team members. Our main objective is to achieve the best guest satisfaction, offering our most accurate service to even exceed their own expectations.
As a result, now I am proud to say that in the present day the Alexandra Barcelona a Doubletree by Hilton is a reference as a boutique hotel in the City Center of Barcelona in which during last two years, ADR, Revpar and GOP have been significantly increased in more than a 30%.

Barcelona

Located in the Forum/Poblenou area in Barcelona, this hotel has a size of 125 rooms with 4 meeting rooms and more than 1,000 sq. metres of terrace, dedicated to a 30% of Mice and Events sales. Part of Rafaelhoteles Hotel Group.
Responsible for overall operation of the hotel, coordinating teams to improve at the highest level all services offered by the hotel.
I was also responsible for commercial follow up as well as creation of commercial strategies related to the promotion of the different points of sale at the hotel, including F&B (events, meeting room rental, banquets , weddings and celebrations).
Drawing up the hotel annual budget. Cost control and follow up, as well as the optimization of resources related to the budgetary achievement, analyzing deviations and establishing strategies to maximize income and control cost.

Barcelona

This charming 4 stars hotel with 67 suite room types is located in the business area in the upper Diagonal Avenue.
As a GM I was in charge of operation and sales direction of the hotel, staff management and also responsible for the budgetary fulfillment as well as cost control.
Coordination and team leadership, drawing up and follow-up of the annual sales budget and hotel costs. Annual contracting with FIT, Yield and Revenue Management.
Used to deal with key/corporate accounts.

This 245 rooms hotel, located in Barcelona Poblenou area owns 4 meeting rooms with more than 1,000 sq metres dedicated to F&B.
In coordination with General Manager, organizing hotel operation departments (Front of the house,
frontdesk, housekeeping, reservations department , F&B…)
Helping to develop the quality plan for the chain H10 Hotels in this hotel (H10 Quality).

Supervision and organization of a team of seventeen agents, in charge of training and development within the company to achieve goals. Creation of internal procedures with the purpose of optimizing the quality of the product-service (Checklist, SOP for this department).
