As Executive Head I had four key performance areas: Strategic• Ensure alignment of IT Strategy with the business strategy.• Conceptualise, and recommend strategic IT initiatives to EXCO and the Board. • Deliver initiatives within agreed resource and time constraints. As Business Systems Manager I was responsible for managing IT in the organisation. I identified the business's development requirements, mapped them to technical solutions and implemented them through outsource development partners. A number of operational systems and platforms were rationalised through a business approved enterprise architecture and transformation road map, with approved projects and milestones. These projects included:• Consolidation of all financial processing onto a bespoke finance system. • Implementation of data warehouse to consolidate financial information for three insurance licenses.• Implementation of a client data warehouse to standardise monthly client premium and claims extracts, and to support regulatory and financial reporting requirements.• Implemented Microsoft CRM (Dynamics) and SharePoint.• Implemented K2.Net as a business process automation and workflow tool.

As IT Manager I was part of MANCO and had the following key responsibilities:• Systems Architecture & Development.• Data Warehouse development and implementation.• Team leadership and recruitment• Agile project management.• IT Infrastructure planning, management and support.During my time at Admiral I recruited and lead a team of 9 staff, including 6 developers, a DBA, a BI Reports writer and a network administrator. All development projects were implemented following the Agile approach, including a number of new application development projects, workflow process implementations and existing applications maintenance projects.The Admiral Underwriting Group was an Underwriting Manager that sold professional indemnity, liability, body corporate, commercial, heavy commercial vehicle, and high net-worth personal lines insurance through insurance brokers.

Began working at RedScreen as a software developer and worked on a number of bespoke software development projects. Responsibilities were expanded to include: leading development teams, running projects, gathering requirements from clients, and designing and architecting applications.
